The Truth and Reconciliation Commission in Peru and the Gender Perspective: Main Achievements and Findings
The CVR's findings are striking, and the nine voluminous volumes of the report documented the development of the violence process, the parties to the conflict, crimes and human rights violations, as well as the aftermath of the violence. In addition to these important findings and contributions, the CVR Report marked a significant milestone by incorporating an analysis of the differentiated impact of violence on the basis of gender, as well as including a specific chapter on sexual violence against women.
