Museum of Memory and Ongoing Research
It seems evident that the launch of the Museo de la Memoria project has generated a public reaction that faithfully reproduces the deep fissures — almost geological faults — between those who, on one side, are persuaded of the central role that working through our recent and bloody history plays in the development of our consciousness, and thus our collective well-being, and on the other, those who perceive the Comisión de la Verdad, and therefore the Museum, as a tribunal that condemns or acquits, dividing the world into heroes and villains.
