The Victims Are Not Peruvians

The aim of this article is to reflect on how Peruvian society ended up semiotically constructing the victims; what elements of our history and what flaws and strengths of our society ultimately turned the victims of the internal armed conflict into a kind of "undesirable beings," whom our political class and the State itself struggle to attend to; but also why we ourselves find it hard to see them.
