Power on Trial. Jurisdictional Dispute Interrupts Investigation of the Barrios Altos Massacre
Once again the Poder Judicial will face a test of its autonomy and independence with the jurisdictional dispute raised by the military courts regarding the Barrios Altos massacre case, which occurred on November 3, 1991, and in which 15 people died. In the coming weeks, the Criminal Chamber of the Corte Suprema will hear this case. Published in 1995.
