Memories of El Frontón - Opinion Column
The article on El Frontón in Caretas No. 1963, last week, led the author to recall both that report from 25 years ago and another, five years later: the one about the riot, the battle, and the massacre. When I think about both reports, what emerges, before faces, is the image of the Blue Pavilion — that building turned into a bloody symbol that the State built, lost, and destroyed.
