While the circus of the staging or capitulation of the dubious battle of Ayacucho and other vain, dishonest, and irrelevant occasions continues, let us seriously look at what will never be forgotten and what justice will be demanded for. In truth, that tavern located very close to the EP barracks "Los Cabitos" in Ayacucho — ironically named LA ÚLTIMA ESPERANZA (The Last Hope) — would indeed have been just that for hundreds of men, women, and children who were cruelly murdered in this state stronghold during the fateful 1980s.
