Mass Graves with 80 Corpses Found in Peru

Four mass graves, containing at least 80 bodies, were discovered in a village in southern Peru, in an area that was the center of guerrilla violence more than a decade ago. Residents of Capaya, a village in the southern Andes, found the remains while building a new church. Published on May 5, 2001.
