THE INFORMATION CENTER was created by the Defensoría del Pueblo to house the information compiled and produced by the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación, the documentary archives of the former Special Prosecutors' Offices of the Defensoría del Pueblo and the Human Rights division of the Ministerio Público, and all human rights information produced and received by the Defensoría itself. Its archives, which include photographic, audiovisual, digital, and printed materials, are available to all those interested in the study of history and the human rights situation in Peru.
