Alanismo in power — that is, the Apra invaded and emptied of all content inconvenient to Pepe Graña — has decided not to help Peru have a place where the memory of atrocity is concentrated. I am speaking of the plural atrocity that bloodied us. First, that of the Senderistas, who made us poorer and sadder. Second, that of the Emerretistas, who believed Peru was Havana in 1958. And third, that of specific military officers — named and named again — who ended up thinking like Senderistas, acting like Emerretistas, and destroying, together with Fujimori, their own institutions.
