Putis: Genocide and Silence - Opinion Column
Putis, a small and extremely poor rural settlement in Huanta, Ayacucho, relives the genocidal horror of the war and of the counter-subversive strategy used against the brutal Shining Path terror during the 1980s and 1990s.
