Communiqué: Ombudsman's Office Strongly Condemns Recruitment of Minors for Terrorist Activities
The Defensoría del Pueblo issued a communiqué today in which it EXPRESSES, before public opinion, its most profound REJECTION of the use of minors in terrorist activities, as was observed in images broadcast on Sunday, May 24, on a television program. The Defensoría del Pueblo has repeatedly warned of the situation of vulnerability and threat to which the population in the VRAE area is exposed, particularly children and adolescents, due to the deranged actions of terrorist groups.
