If my calendar told me which saint's day falls on August 24, I could commend myself to her and recommend that readers and the prime minister do the same — but my calendar is electronic and secular. If I trusted in shamans, I would take a ritual floral bath so that the coming Thursday would not be a disastrous day, but after the tragedy of the businessman who brought in a northern healer, not a chance. I would not recommend it to Del Castillo either, since I am against the death penalty. Published August 19, 2006.
