Hypotheses on Conflicts in Present-Day Peru. Aftermath and Lessons from the Years of Political Violence
This work aims to put forward some hypotheses about the nature of social conflicts in present-day Peru, using as a reference certain interpretations that have frequently been elaborated about historical violence in our country. We consider that the utility of this text — more political than academic — is why questions directed at the national leadership are repeatedly raised. The study seeks, in the findings and recommendations of the Comisión de la Verdad Report, a reading of current conflicts. Statistical and quantitative analysis will assist in this task.
