Judicialization of Human Rights Violations: Substantive and Procedural Contributions
Since its founding in 2004, the Instituto de Democracia y Derechos Humanos de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (IDEHPUCP) has had as one of its main objectives to collaborate in the monitoring and implementation of the CVR's recommendations — among them, those related to strengthening the institutions responsible for the investigation and judicial prosecution of human rights violations that occurred during the decades of internal armed conflict (1980–2000). As a final product of this work, we present the book "Judicialización de violaciones de derechos humanos: aportes sustantivos y procesales," a publication that compiles the main presentations from training workshops held during the project, as well as a selection of articles analyzing topics of current interest in the area of criminal prosecution of human rights violations.
