Progress and Challenges in Reparations for Victims of Political Violence. Governance and Human Rights
Several years after the enactment of the law creating the Comprehensive Reparations Plan — PIR, Law No. 28592 (July 2005) — and its Regulations (Supreme Decree No. 015-2006-JUS), and with the 8th anniversary of the delivery of the Final Report of the Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación, we want to take advantage of the context of a new government to assess how much progress has been made on the issue of reparations for victims of the internal armed conflict, drawing on the work carried out by the high-level Multisectoral Commission responsible for their implementation — CMAN.
