CVR Final Report. Annex 6. Printed Edition. Database for Qualitative Research (BDI)
The basic idea behind the CVR's Qualitative Research Database (BDI) was to unify the processing of information collected from a set of areas using the same software and the same codebook. At the time of writing this document, information was still being entered into the database, although it was already in the final stage of development. For this reason we do not venture to give definitive figures on the exact number of codings performed or the number of memos, though we can make a fairly close estimate: approximately 145,000 codings are expected to be entered, and the estimated number of memos is 1,300. On the other hand, the number of documents that have been entered is 1,984. Documents vary in page count, but it is estimated that approximately 35,000 pages are stored in total.
