Memory Magazine No. 6
"Memoria. Revista sobre cultura, democracia y derechos humanos" is an academic publication that seeks to contribute reflections to the necessary and urgent public debate in a country marked by two apparently contradictory realities: a situation of emerging economic and financial development, in contrast with a post-conflict society characterized by fragile and exclusionary institutions, both with implications for the social, cultural, and political life of the nation. This sixth issue offers reflections on the regrettable events that occurred in Bagua in June 2009. The relationship between the State and the indigenous peoples of Peru is analyzed in various essays through the lens of interculturality.
