Justice, Memory and Reparation. How Far Have We Come?
Since the delivery of the CVR's Final Report, significant progress has been made. Today there is a Comprehensive Reparations Plan, which has already been regulated. The institutions responsible for planning reparations and registering victims have also been created. And regional and local reparation processes are also underway. But this progress has not been even with respect to the CVR's other recommendations. The prosecution of crimes against human rights committed during the internal armed conflict and the reform of the State as a guarantee against the repetition of violence remain pending. The material offered here aims to make known what has been done, what remains to be done, and what needs to be corrected.
