Ruins of the Bellavista police station after a Shining Path attack

Remains of the Bellavista police station following the Shining Path attack of April 13, 1991. That day, a group of subversives detonated a car bomb against the police headquarters. The explosion caused the death of third-class PNP technical officer Marcial Huamán García, passerby Luis Cervera Roldán, and neighbors Óscar Calle Salazar and Raúl Calle Ruiz.
