Funerals of a couple who were victims of violence in Acos Vinchos, province of Huamanga, on February 21, 1991. The Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación has estimated that the 20 years of violence in the country (1980-2000) claimed a total of 69,280 victims among the dead and disappeared; 75% of them had Quechua as their mother tongue.
