CURFEW IN HUAMANGA
From his doorway, a resident of Ayacucho watches the streets of Huamanga during a "curfew." In 1984, in response to the intensification of terrorism and given that Ayacucho had been declared a "state of emergency" zone, the government imposed this measure.
