Relatives of the four police officers murdered by Shining Path members express their grief during their funeral.
Relatives of the four police officers killed on October 4, 1982 during a Sendero attack on the police post in the town of Mayocc, in Churcampa, Huancavelica, express their consternation during the officers' funeral. The fallen Guardia Civil members were Julio Ramírez, Víctor Carranza, Marino Tinoco, and Rolando Tineo Arrieta. During the 20 years of violence, 1,436 police victims were recorded, among the dead and wounded.
