Combined Army and police forces search students at the University of San Marcos
Combined Army and police forces check students at the Universidad de San Marcos. The day before the 1989 Municipal elections were to be held, combined Army and Police forces raided the Faculty of Medicine of San Fernando at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. During the operation, explosive materials and Sendero Luminoso propaganda were seized.
