MARTÍN RIVAS'S ESCAPE
Martin Rivas, identified as the leader of the "Grupo Colina," escapes the press siege through a window of Congress. Rivas had appeared to testify before the Human Rights Commission, chaired by ruling-party legislator Anselmo Revilla, which was investigating the murder of CGTP Secretary-General Pedro Huilca. The ladder was provided by Congress's own security personnel.
