Sexual violations at Suracasi Base

During the period of detention at the Suracasi Base, multiple cases of rape against female detainees were recorded. One witness testified that he heard a woman who had accused him of being a terrorist being sexually abused. The victims were forced to do domestic work for the military during their detention. Near the base there was a soccer field where the dungeon where these abuses took place was located. Testimonies indicate that the rapes were systematic and occurred at night.
