Seferino Requis was a union leader of CENTROMIN - Peru murdered in the city of Cerro de Pasco in 1989. His death occurred in the context of a series of selective assassinations against union leaders and political authorities in the capital of the department of Pasco. Along with Tomas Miranda Trinidad (1986) and Leonidas Gómez Yalico (1988), Requis was a victim of the political violence that affected union leaders of the state mining company. These murders were part of the strategy of annihilation of local authorities and union leaders carried out by PCP-SL militants in the city of Cerro de Pasco.
