Murders in the community of Collpa, Santo Tomás
Shining Path killed 2 people in Collpa and burned their corpses
Approximately 30 members of the Shining Path entered the community of Collpa. They gathered the villagers in the school, tied up and put four people on the floor. Two of them, Marcos Corpuna Leandro and Florencio García Ccorahua, were killed in front of the other villagers. Then they poured kerosene over the corpses and set them on fire. Before leaving, they stole the cattle and threatened the villagers.
