MRTA executes Pedro Ojeda Zavala for treason
Pedro Ojeda Zavala, Darío, who led dissidents of the MIR VR who tried to organize a guerrilla column of their own, was found by his former comrades and shot. The revolutionary tribunal of the MRTA considered him a traitor. Thus ended the first attempt at schism in the Northeastern Front.
