PAP separates congressman Manuel Ángel del Pomar
The PAP expelled congressman Manuel Ángel del Pomar for being involved in drug money laundering. The separation was decided by the National Executive Committee of the party.
The National Executive Committee of the Peruvian Aprista Party (PAP) removes from its ranks the deputy for Lima Manuel Ángel del Pomar. The separation is due to his involvement in money laundering of proceeds from the sale of drugs to Europe. This disciplinary measure takes place in a context of political and economic crisis of the Aprista government of Alan García Pérez.
