Detention and torture of Pedro and Fabián Carbajal Roldán
The Army detained and tortured two Carbajal brothers in retaliation for a previous escape of one of them.
Members of the Army stationed at the Chalhuanca Base arrested Pedro Carbajal Roldán (who had escaped capture earlier) and his brother Fabián Carbajal Roldán, accusing them of having participated in subversive actions. Both were victims of brutal torture. This action constituted a reprisal against Pedro for having managed to escape from a previous arrest.
