Raid on the Sicuani Farmers' Training Center
PIP illegally raided Centro de Formación Campesina de Sicuani; false accusations.
A squad of the PIP and the Prosecutor of Canchis showed up at the facilities of the Peasant Training Center and the Community Aid Project, both dependencies of the Prelature of Sicuani, with orders from Lima to raid both premises, without any notice and without contacting the prelate, Monsignor Quinn. The action was carried out in violation of the law, with defamatory and arrogant elements. In the end it was proven that the suspicions and charges were completely false and unfounded.
