Deaths of students Carlos Barnet and Hernán Pozo Barrientos between May and October 1988

The year 1988 was characterized by the disproportionate police repression of student demonstrations, which caused the death of three students between May and October 1988: Javier Arrasco Catpo, Carlos Barnet and Hernán Pozo Barrientos. In all three cases, the deaths occurred in situations where the police fired their firearms irresponsibly, during student demonstrations.
