Premier Guillermo Larco Cox appeared before the Chamber of Deputies on April 13, 1988, with only the APRA bench in attendance due to the withdrawal of the opposition. This was followed by a broader presentation of the full cabinet on April 26.

On April 13, 1988, Prime Minister Guillermo Larco Cox appeared before the Chamber of Deputies to comply with parliamentary protocol. However, the auditorium was only composed of representatives of the APRA party, due to the withdrawal of the opposition parliamentarians. This presentation was part of the constitutional obligations of the ministerial cabinet before Congress. Subsequently, on April 26, the entire ministerial team headed by Larco Cox would be presented before Congress, and after three days of discussions and imputations, the presentation of the Larco Cox cabinet in the Chamber of Deputies culminated on April 29.
