Destruction of SAIS Heroínas Toledo
The SAIS Heroínas Toledo was totally destroyed and deactivated by Sendero Luminoso in March 1988.
Between March 1988 and January 1989, Shining Path carried out violent actions against the SAIS Heroínas Toledo and Cahuide in the central highlands. The SAIS Heroínas Toledo was deactivated in March 1988 after the total destruction of its facilities and assets by the Shining Path. This destruction was part of the Shining Path's strategy of attacking productive organizations.
