Detention and torture of Ramiro Niño de Guzman
Family member who claimed for missing persons was detained and tortured in Santa Rosa Military Base.
Ramiro Niño de Guzmán Ayvar went to the Santa Rosa Base to demand the release of his relatives Manuel Niño de Guzmán Ayvar, Matilde Niño de Guzmán, Luisa Ayvar Niño de Guzmán, Rosa Niño de Guzmán Ayvar and Rosa Velásquez Marca. He was immediately arrested and forced to enter the military establishment where he was subjected to cruel torture. He was released thanks to the timely intervention of the Human Rights Committee of Abancay.
