Arrest and disappearance of Armando Huamantingo Villanueva
Amoca community member voluntarily presented himself to a military base and was disappeared.
Armando Huamantingo Villanueva (40 years old), a resident of the community of Amoca, was detained at the Santa Rosa Military Base. He presented himself voluntarily when he found out that his name was on a list of alleged subversives that the military was looking for. His wife Matiasa Huashua Huamaní and three of his five children witnessed him being taken there. There was no further news of his whereabouts.
