Detention and torture of Irene Torres Palomino at Capaya base

Irene Torres Palomino was detained along with other people and taken to the Capaya Military Base where she was physically and verbally punished. The soldiers beat her with kicks and jabbed her with the points of their guns all over her body, accusing her of being a 'terruca'. They showed no compassion even when her young son cried. She was subjected to mistreatment during her detention without consideration for the fact that she was carrying her baby.
