The PCP-SL carried out between five and six raids in Llamapsillon between the end of 1988 and the beginning of 1989, forcing the burning of documents, weaving hoods, prohibiting parties and punishing those who did not obey their orders.
Between the end of 1988 and the first months of 1989, the PCP-SL carried out approximately five to six raids in the Llamapsillon annex. During these raids, people were forced to burn documents and women were forced to weave hoods for them. The PCP-SL prohibited parties and punished people when they did not comply with their orders. These actions were part of the Shining Path strategy to establish territorial control and create popular committees in the Canipaco valley area.
