Attack on Ccarhuapampa group of displaced people

In 1988, the Shining Path PCP attacked the Ccarhuapampa group of displaced people, where many Uchuraccaínos had taken refuge. Several people were killed with axes during the attack.

The Ccarhuapampa group of displaced people, where many Uchuraccaínos had fled after attacks on their community, was attacked by the Shining Path PCP in 1988. During the attack, several people were killed. The attackers used axes to kill the victims, hitting them in the head. This attack was part of the systematic persecution against the Uchuraccay community members who had participated in the resistance against the Shining Path and who had dispersed to different places seeking refuge.
