MRTA takes San José de Sisa without police resistance
The emerretista detachment went to the town of San José de Sisa where they arrived on November 7 at 4 pm. They entered the town without any resistance from the police forces who, having heard about what had happened in Juanjui, had left the place shortly before. In this action Alejandro Guerrero, reporter for Channel 5, managed to interview Víctor Polay.
