Arrest of Yovanka Pardavé Trujillo and Roger Tito Valle Travesaño
Police seized subversive literature in the home of Shining Path militants in San Juan de Lurigancho.
During a search ordered by the Primer Juzgado de Paz Letrado de San Juan de Lurigancho, police officers found a large amount of subversive literature in the house where Roger Tito Valle Travesaño and Yovanka Elizabeth Pardavé Trujillo lived. The analysis of the seized documents revealed that they belonged to the Shining Path organization Socorro Popular del Perú and that Yovanka Pardavé Trujillo, alias 'Comrade Sara', was the cell secretary in charge of planning and executing plans, including the assassination of César López Silva.
