Seizure of Soritor by the MRTA
MRTA takes Soritor with one policeman killed in attack on police post
A guerrilla unit took Soritor, province of Moyobamba, attacking the police post. One officer was killed and those who were wounded were treated by the subversives. The MRTA summoned the population to explain the reasons for their insurgency.
