Supreme Court upholds conviction of police officers for Socos massacre

The Second Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic declared that all aspects of the conviction for the Socos massacre were not null and void. The Supreme Court confirmed the prison and disqualification sentences imposed on the eleven members of the Civil Guard responsible for the murder of 32 residents of Socos in November 1983.
