Resignation of Manuel Romero Caro to the Ministry of Industry and Tourism

Manuel Romero Caro resigned as Minister of Industry and Tourism in September 1987. He was replaced by Alberto Vera La Rosa in October of the same year.

Manuel Romero Caro resigned from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism in September 1987. His resignation took place in a political context marked by the controversy generated by the nationalization of the banking system proposed by President Alan García Pérez in July of that year. The position was subsequently assumed by Alberto Vera La Rosa, who was sworn in as Minister of Industry, Tourism, Commerce and Integration on October 2, 1987.
