The PCP-SL killed people accused of immoral behavior (abigeos, womanizers, etc.) in the Nunumia, Cochas, Paca and Colpa basins in the provinces of Bolognesi and Ocros during August 1987.

In August 1987, the PCP-SL executed people accused of "immoral behavior" in the Nunumia, Cochas, Paca and Colpa basins, located in the provinces of Bolognesi and Ocros. The victims were identified as abigeos, womanizers and other behaviors considered immoral by the subversive organization. This action was part of the PCP-SL's strategy to impose its own moral order and justice system in the areas under its control. Selective killings on moral grounds were part of the method of social control implemented by the Shining Path in peasant communities.
