PCP-SL attack to police posts of Checca and Quehue, confrontation

60 PCP-SL elements attacked the police posts of Checca and Quehue, stealing ammunition, two weapons and setting fire to the premises. The civilian guards pursued the attackers and near Checca a confrontation took place in which Sonia Lino Ojeda and Janeth Vizcarra of the PCP-SL were killed, while guard Adolfo Flores was seriously wounded.
