PCP-SL attacks on police posts and communities in Canas, Acomayo and Chumbivilcas

The PCP-SL attacked several police posts and communities in the province of Canas on January 30, 1987. On February 7, it carried out similar attacks in the provinces of Acomayo and Chumbivilcas. This series of coordinated attacks is evidence of the territorial expansion of the PCP-SL in the high provinces of Cuzco.
