Beginning of sabotage to factories by the PCP-SL

These first sabotages were claimed by El Diario, a press organ linked to the PCP-SL, pointing them out as the beginning of the execution of the "Great Plan to develop the bases". This action represented a significant change in the Shining Path tactics, which until then had been concentrated mainly in rural areas. The sabotages were part of the work of "reorganization of the party" in the perspective of the "Plan to conquer the bases", intensifying its presence in the urban and industrial areas.
