Consacc Administrator Murder
PCP-SL militants assassinated the Administrator of the Consacc Production Unit of the SAIS Túpac Amaru and wounded the Deputy Administrator, as part of their campaign to destroy the SAIS in Junín.
On October 25, 1986, PCP-SL (Shining Path) militants killed the Administrator of the Consacc Production Unit and wounded the Deputy Administrator. Consacc was one of the production units of SAIS Túpac Amaru, located in the province of Jauja. This attack was part of a systematic campaign of destruction of the SAIS (Sociedades Agrarias de Interés Social) that Sendero Luminoso was carrying out in the region. A similar event had occurred months earlier, on July 22, 1986, in another production unit of the same SAIS, where an administrator was also killed.
