II Preparatory Meeting of the ANP in Chiclayo with the participation of MRTA
The II Preparatory Meeting of the National Popular Assembly was held in Chiclayo. Almost all the leftist political parties grouped in the IU and others outside it, as well as the most important union and trade union organizations in the country promoted the formation of the ANP. The MRTA, through the organizations in which it had influence, showed its progress and relations with other forces in the popular camp.
